The escalator step chain is a key component that connects and drives the escalator steps. It is usually made of high-strength alloy steel and consists of a series of precision-machined chain links. Each link undergoes a special heat treatment process to ensure that it has extremely high tensile strength, wear resistance and fatigue resistance.
The step chain connects all the steps of the escalator and forms a closed ring structure. When the escalator starts, the drive device drives the step chain to move, thereby pulling the steps to circulate along the preset track to realize the passenger transportation function.
