ame and working principle of safety switch
1.Emergency stop switch
(1) Emergency stop switch of control box
Emergency stop switches on the upper and lower control boxes: installed on the upper and lower control boxes, used to disconnect the safety circuit and stop the escalator in an emergency.
(2) End station emergency stop switch
Upper and lower stop switches: installed on the apron plate at the entrance and exit of the escalator, used to disconnect the safety circuit in an emergency to stop the escalator.
2. Cover protection switch
Upper and lower cover protection switches: installed under the upper and lower covers, used to detect whether the cover is open. If the cover is opened and the sensor cannot sense the cover, the safety circuit will be disconnected and the escalator will stop running.
3. Apron board protection switch
Lower left and right, upper left and right apron board protection switches: installed in the apron boards at the upper and lower ends to prevent the apron board from changing. Once a change occurs, the micro switch is activated, the escalator safety circuit is disconnected, and the escalator stops running. .
4. Step sink switch
Upper and lower step subsidence switch: installed in the step guide rail. When the step subsides, the step will touch the pole at the connection. After that, the step continues to run, driving the pole to turn forward, and the gap in front of the switch will rotate, causing the switch to operate.
5. Handrail entrance and exit switch
The entrance and exit switches for the upper left and right handrails and the lower left and right handrails are installed in the apron board at the lower part of the handrail at the entrance and exit. When the handrail pinches the hand, the handrail is lifted up and the black part is pressed forward to activate the switch.
6. Step chain-breaking switch
Left and right step chain breaking switches: Installed in the lower machine room. When the step chain breaks, the step sprocket rolls forward due to inertia. The upper action part of the switch is fixed on the step sprocket, so the action part also moves forward, which activates the switch.
7. Turning wheel detection switch
Turning wheel detection switch: Installed in the upper machine room. When the switch is removed, the safety circuit is disconnected to prevent the escalator from suddenly running during turning.
8. Main drive chain break switch
Main drive chain break switch: It is installed in the upper machine room. When the drive chain breaks, the drive chain droops and switches, and the safety circuit is disconnected, causing the escalator to stop running.
The escalator safety circuit ensures the safety of passengers. When various emergencies occur, any switch can be operated to stop the escalator.
