Technical conditions of the scrapping and replacement of elevator traction steel belts:
1. the design life of the steel belt is 15 years, which is 2~3 times of the life of the traditional steel wire rope, it is recommended to carry out a comprehensive appearance inspection of the steel belt at least once a year during the design life cycle of the steel belt.
2. the outer cladding layer of the steel belt and the steel core in the cladding layer in use without any signs of wear or damage and the steel belt real-time monitoring and alarm device without abnormal alarms, the steel belt life cycle of 15 years, it is recommended that the end of the replacement, such as the need to continue to use the belt should be strengthened to the regular routine inspection.
3. in the routine maintenance, if you find the steel belt real-time monitoring and alarming device has abnormal alarm but not stop the ladder, you should confirm whether the steel belt monitoring and alarming device is abnormal or not, such as the steel belt alarming device itself is not abnormal, you should immediately prepare to scrap and replace the steel belt.
4. If the steel belt real-time monitoring and alarming device alarms and stops the elevator, the elevator shall not be re-served in any way, and shall be scrapped and replaced immediately.
